Polebenders - Available to children ages 6-14. This program is made possible by the Ladysmith High School Class of '58, who provides and maintains the fishing Poles. Children sign up for a loaner card and they receive a free tackle box that is theirs to keep. They may check out a fishing pole for one week at a time. They must bring in their loaner cards to get a pole, and they are allowed only one tackle box.

The signal is generally stronger in some areas. The basic requirements include a wireless card in your device that can use IEEE 802.11b and 802.11g. Please be aware that the speed may vary.
In order to connect, please follow these basic steps:
Make sure your wireless is turned on, and then browse the available Access Points. Connect to SSID “publiclibrary," as this is the only one that will allow access to the internet. Verify connectivity to internet.
We have a power check meter available for check-out so that you can determine how much energy your appliances use. There are complete instructions with the kit, and you will learn about the amount of voltage, the electricity cost, and the energy consumption of your appliances.
